About Me

Hi! Thanks so much for stopping by and having a read of this little old blog. Thanks even more for then taking the time to come and check out more about me.

I'm Rhianna and A Parenting Life is my little part of the internet where I can pretend that I am a writer. For as long as I can remember I have held on to the notion that I should be a writer. Over the years that has been reinforced by many people. Some quite possibly because they think it is the right thing to say and others because quite possibly they believe it to be true.

Personally my faith in the matter varies as much as the direction in which the wind blows and can change almost as quickly. I guess only time will tell how it all pans out. For now though I am just making the most of life and enjoying all that is before me.

A little over ten years ago I was fortunate enough to marry the man of my dreams. He is referred here on the blog as Mr Awesome. Namely because that is exactly what he is. Awesome and all kinds of it. I have seriously considered changing our surname in real life to this but filling out all the required paperwork (and fees) turned me off.

Completing my Awesome inner family circle is Lovely, a nearly fourteen year old, Zany, a turning nine this year old, and Teapot, a soon to be five year old. Oh and Summer. Our rainbow lorikeet.

As I type this we are nearly six months in to #ouradventureofalifetime Which is a twelve month journey around Australia. So far we have only made it as far as the south west of Western Australia. Which is nearly the entire western coastline and approximately 5000km from home. Though in total we have driven a lot further than 5000km on account of a few trips inland to see a few amazing places. If you want to read more about #ouradventureofalifetime you should probably go here. Alternatively you could go to Instagram and search my groovy hashtag (#ouradventureofalifetime).

A spreader of fairy wishes and butterfly kisses I am somewhat of a constant dreamer that always hopes for the best. I have a tendency to look for silver linings and the bright side of life and encourage you to try and do the same.

I really am pleased to have you along for the ride and welcome to you follow along on any of the below social media platforms. Click the icon of your preference to be whisked directly there.
