Wordless Wednesday - Birds

Last Wednesday I was going to share some photos of a few of the birds I have encountered on #ouradventureofalifetime only I decided to go with flowers instead. So guess what you get today?

This little fellow was spotted on the De Grey River. I had to careful zoom in between some branches. Hence the frames on the corner

This black swan was also on the De Grey River. Seeing it made my day. I love black swans

Hence why there is another photo of one.

Kookaburras are also on my favourite bird list.

This red capped robin was seen at our campsite at Karijini National Park. He was pretty much the only bird we saw there.

And a few galahs for good luck

Wordless Wednesday - Picnicking with the birds

 

With the second of four weeks holidays well under way we have been making the most of our local parks and playgrounds. Enjoying many a picnic with both the birds, friends and Nan.

Topsy Turvy Cinderella Dolls

Poor Cinderella's want to go to the ball, 

but what are they to wear?

Hold the phone and wave your wands.

Looks like the ball gowns are sorted and dance cards are now filled and ready to go.

These gorgeous tospy turvy dolls were made for Teapot and Zany as birthday presents from my mum. The games they have had together with them have been nothing but heart warming.

Wordless Wednesday - Sydney Royal Easter Show - Cakes

It just so happened that the day before I left Sydney was also the second day of the Royal Easter Show. Now regular readers will recall that I am a bit of a show girl. You know in that I love going to the show. Who doesn't?

When I worked out that I would be in town for the start of the countries largest show I couldn't not go. As always I was a terrible blogger and didn't take along my SLR. Leaving me to the perils of only my iPhone camera. Which I must admit is not exactly perilous but I always feel limited when using it.

As such all I really took photos of was the cake section. 

OMG.

Never have my eyes seen anything like it. But enough from me because this is supposed to be a somewhat wordless post!

 My sister assured me this was no where near as cool as her hungry caterpillar cake

In much the same way I am certain I prefer to think my pigs in mud cake is better than this one

Though really at the end of the day they are all pretty cool 

 The detail in some of the cakes was nothing short of amazing

Wordless Wednesday - Baking

Today the little one and I are cooking up a storm.

Actually it is more of a super secret surprise full of awesomeness.

So hard not to spill the beans.
